The Nascar Cars

NASCAR, if only by fa ade, seems determined to retain its original roots as true stock car racing. Over time the stance may have shifted quite away from true but the overall integrity remains a bit unchanged. That’s the truth of NASCAR cars, stock cars intended from the start but until recently, the only racer that would call them “stock” cars might be those that drive Lamborghinis and Porsches and frequented places like Eigensinn Farm at Toronto. So what are those “stock cars” at NASCAR? Here are the major wheeled players.

General Motors have several NASCAR car entries since 1972 Winston Cup. Among General Motor’s entries during the Winston Cup include the Chevrolet Chevelle, Oldsmobile Cutlass, Pontiac Grand Prix, Chevrolet Monte Carlo, Buick Regal, and Chevrolet Lumina. The Chevrolet Monte Carlo was General Motor’s biggest successes from its inception. And to replicate such successes with the Monte Carlo on another line of car, General Motors will calibrate the Chevrolet Impala SS in favor of the Monte Carlo.

GM’s closest rival, Ford is the older to enter the NASCAR, at 1960 when the cup was still called Grand National Era. Its first competitive racing brand was with the Ford Fairlaine, a heavily modified muscle car. After the Fairlaine, Ford listed several cars for NASCAR entry: the Ford Torino, the Ford Thunderbird (which is a heavily modified Fairlaine), Ford Taurus and the Mercury Cyclone Montego. The Ford car entries didn’t as much gained notoriety in the NASCAR as well as the consumer market as the Monte Carlo and the Impala, or even its own non-NASCAR brand the Ford Mustang.

Ford revamped its former NASCAR entries, now the Ford Fusion is its latest NASCAR entr e. It sports the expected company’s trademark for the decade which is the three bar grille design. Just like the earlier models of “fishmouth”, this “new look” isn’t a huge depart from the aged models like the Ford’s Thunderbird series.

Chrysler, with its Chrysler 300 Letter Series, started out at NASCAR since 1955. The Chrysler 300 was a remarkable engine that did especially well in NASCAR. It was later resolve when despite its uncanny presence in the NASCAR it still sold poorly, with only 1,725 cars sold to the public.

Throughout the Winston Cup, Chrysler had participated with several models: the Dodge Charger, Dodge Intrepid, and the Plymouth Road Runner. For the Nextel Cup, Chrysler puts its recent model for the competition, the Dodge Avenger.

Formula One and NHRA. When the founder William France Sr. formed NASCAR, he had exclusive intentions to use 'stock' models, cars that are normally available to the general public without too much alteration. Such regulation would make certain that race cars aren't modified to such degree that one type of car would have a huge advantage over the next one. And the regulation is at large what made NASCAR the most successful race tournament in history. While in the past, entry level drivers have stock cars that are most often used on daily obligations as well on racetracks, NASCAR entry cars of more recent times are far from the cars that emerge from production. Wedding Symbols
The fastest car wins a little prize. This may be going overboard a bit but the idea may work. I just can't imagine the bride's great grandmother getting into the racing game. Maybe I'll have her ring the bells. The Nascar Cars One thing that concerns me is making sure that no one is offended by my using the classic wedding symbols for a race. My other NASCAR bridal shower idea is to use tea cups as party favors as well. I was thinking about putting a die-cast car into each little cup. The cars would be surrounded by five Jordan almonds. The almonds are wedding symbols representing five wishes for the bride and groom. This way, the wedding symbols representing the five wishes can be smoothly incorporated to the idea of racing and winning the "cup" of marriage. This may be a bit of a push but it could work. I have to reconsider...

Finally, a NASCAR NEXTEL Cup racecar wouldn't be complete without the safety devices brought in to the picture. Seatbelts, roof flaps, window nets, a safe windshield made out of polycarbonate material, a fuel tank with a hard plastic inner layer, and more should be integrated to the design and assembly of a racecar. Definitely with these high-end and powerful NASCAR NEXTEL Cup racecars, NASCAR fans are in The Nascar Cars for a treat with each race seen. As improvements and modifications continue in line with the quest for speed, these racecars will beyond doubt give a good...
