Employee needs are to be valued as a person, and as a valuable member of the team for any type of motivation to work. For them to know their valued, it wise to clearly set in a positive, but firm tone, the expectations that need to be accomplished after each work shift. Another good way to push staff motivation to its peak is to offer public recognition and monetary gain for work achievements. It might be necessary at times to rework staff into other positions that their better suited for too.
A good manager always looks to improve the productivity of their staff in their work. It takes improvising at times to get the best from the others that you work with. A job is really nothing more than using effective people skills with others. Jobs are people, and people are jobs; is a good way to look at what staff motivation really entails. If you keep that in mind, you’ll make a success out of motivating others.
