It is natural for men as they age to have an enlarged prostate. As the prostate gland is so nearly situated as to affect the urethra when enlarged, so the effect of urinary problems with BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia). The enlarged prostrate obstructs urine flow. Thus, difficulty of urination and frequent urges to urinate especially at nighttime are among the symptoms of prostate disease as BPH.

Such prostate disease may be bearable by some, but many have found such to disturb their daily activities. Blood in the urine, weak urination and a feeling of still having the urge to urinate are also symptoms of a prostate disease. These will indeed make a man worry more about his current state of health and condition - and will not only affect him physically but mentally as well.

Prostate cancer may also be one to contend with. Such prostate disease also affects a man’s sexual function. Painful ejaculation, incapability to maintain firm erections and the like, are experienced by one with prostate disease. A man with such problems definitely faces more than the physical ailments, but the psychological health is put to a risk as well.

Men has always been associated with his sexual nature and his aggressiveness with such. And the incapacity to perform sexual functions adequately, may prove to do his self-confidence some damage, or more than what you think.
