Known as the Super Bowl of NASCAR, it hosts two NASCAR NEXTEL Cup races each year, which are the most biggest and fastest events of the schedule. The track uses restrictor plates that require better aerodynamics rather than horsepower out of the racecars. With this kind of track, and with the slightest of error by any one driver, would cause cars to pileup, making this racing track a challenge for most NASCAR drivers.
Bristol Motor Speedway - 151 Speedway Blvd, Bristol, TN
The first NASCAR race on this track was on 1961. This is a very exciting track, as it requires drivers to push and shove to gain position over the other. The high speeds of the racecars under these circumstances make for a great show.
Lowes Motor Speedway - 5555 Concord Parkway South, Concord, NC 28027
The first NASCAR race was held on 1960, with Joe Lee Johnston wining the first race. This track has hosted memorable legendary races. It also hosts the NEXTEL All-Star race, which effectively delivers racing thrills that any NASCAR fanatic would want to experience.
