Jeff Gordon Of Nascar

When someone gets a prime slice of a cake, trust others to gnash about it. That’s what happened to #24 race driver Jeff Gordon of NASCAR Racing, a silent laidback racer whose prowess on the asphalt oval can only be rivaled by quite a few.

Jeffery Michael Gordon was born on August 4, 1971 and started competitive racing roughly at the age of 18. Before even stepping 18, he was already awarded the USAC Midget Car Racing Rookie for winning three short track races. Later on, he would reinstall the feat by winning the next big title: the USAC Silver Crown.

His next path would take him towards the Busch Series for 1991 and 1992. Perhaps it was a chance of fate, but his first NASCAR cup level entry was also the last race for Richard Petty, whom many see as NASCAR best race driver in history. While Jeff Gordon never made it to the winning streaks (he finished at 31st, crashing at 164th lap), he won his first career victory in 1994 and another NASCAR victory and his first ever cup victory. To this date Jeff Gordon of NASCAR has accumulated four cup victories, the only race drivers that exceeded his victories are Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt, both of whom have seven titles under their racing belt.

Jeff Gordon’s NASCAR victories, while cementing his panache behind the wheel, earned him critical remarks upon the assortments of the NASCAR population. He was jabbed for a number of things but most of his criticisms were aimed towards his laidback and often quiet disposition in or out of the game. The most heated issues were about his alleged homosexuality which at one point was explained by his supporter that such rumors were unfounded. Naturally, as the event explained, since Jeff Gordon was a clean cut Californian kid kicking butt on a southern sport, his nice clothes and trim speaking should be a subject to pick on.

The death of Dale Earnhardt caused many in the NASCAR community to look up to Jeff Gordon as NASCAR’s next iconic image. Jeff Gordon of NASCAR is perhaps among NASCAR’s best drivers because of the wealth of achievements he had accumulated. While prowesses of legends like Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt are farther beyond than Jeff’s, many would hardly doubt that at the rate Jeff had been accomplishing at NASCAR it wouldn’t be long before it would be his that will become a benchmarking standard for racers to come.
